The signupUser resource in Atlassian Bamboo before version 6.3.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary HTML or JavaScript via a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability through the value of the csrf token cookie.
The bug was discovered 02/02/2018. The weakness was presented 02/02/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2017-18081 since 02/01/2018. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
