The update user administration resource in Atlassian Bamboo before version 6.3.1 allows remote attackers to modify user data including passwords via a Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability.

The bug was discovered 01/17/2018. The weakness was released 02/02/2018 (Website). The advisory is available at jira.atlassian.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2017-18042 since 01/17/2018.
