A vulnerability was found in Leptonica up to 1.75.3 and classified as critical. This issue affects the function gplotMakeOutput of the component Incomplete Fix CVE-2018-3836. The manipulation of the argument $(command) as part of a Argument leads to a command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-77. An issue was discovered in Leptonica through 1.75.3. The gplotMakeOutput function allows command injection via a $(command) approach in the gplot rootname argument. This issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2018-3836.
