A vulnerability has been found in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part. The issue has been introduced in 07/27/2005. The weakness was shared 12/10/2013 by Bo Qu with Palo Alto Networks as MS13-097 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-5052 since 08/06/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. The structure of the vulnerability defines a possible price range of USD $0-$5k at the moment (estimation calculated on 06/02/2021). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product decreasing in the near future.
