Mediawiki before 1.28.1 / 1.27.2 contains an unsafe use of temporary directory, where having LocalisationCache directory default to system tmp directory is insecure.

The bug was discovered 04/06/2018. The weakness was published 04/13/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at lists.wikimedia.org.
