GNOME GLib 2.56.1 has an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in g_markup_parse_context_parse() in gmarkup.c, related to utf8_str().

The bug was discovered 04/08/2018. The weakness was presented 09/04/2018 by Venustech with Adlab of Venustech (Website). The advisory is shared at gitlab.gnome.org.
