A memory corruption issue was addressed with improved input validation. This issue affected versions prior to iOS 12.1, watchOS 5.1.
The bug was discovered 10/31/2018. The weakness was released 10/29/2018 by Natalie Silvanovich with Google Project Zero as HT209195 as confirmed advisory (Website).
