A vulnerability has been found in Google Chrome up to 70.0.3538.110 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the component MediaRecorder. Incorrect object lifecycle in MediaRecorder in Google Chrome prior to 71.0.3578.80 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
The bug was discovered 12/04/2018. The weakness was published 12/11/2018 by Guang Gong with Qihoo 360 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at chromereleases.googleblog.com.
