Details
A vulnerability was found in Google Chrome up to 70.0.3538.110 (Web Browser) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown function of the component Blink. The manipulation as part of a HTML Page leads to a integer overflow vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-190. The product performs a calculation that can produce an integer overflow or wraparound, when the logic assumes that the resulting value will always be larger than the original value. This can introduce other weaknesses when the calculation is used for resource management or execution control. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
An integer overflow leading to a heap buffer overflow in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 71.0.3578.80 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
