Incorrect handling of Reflect.construct in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 71.0.3578.80 allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page.

The bug was discovered 12/04/2018. The weakness was shared 12/11/2018 by Guang Gong with Qihoo 360 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at chromereleases.googleblog.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-18359 since 10/15/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
