In macOS High Sierra before 10.13.5, an access issue was addressed with additional sandbox restrictions on CUPS.
The bug was discovered 06/01/2018. The weakness was presented 08/07/2018 (Website). The advisory is shared at support.apple.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2018-4182 since 01/02/2018. The attack may be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation needs a simple authentication.
