Use-after-free vulnerability in the AttributeSetter function in bindings/templates/attributes.cpp in the bindings in Blink, as used in Google Chrome before 33.0.1750.152 on OS X and Linux and before 33.0.1750.154 on Windows, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors involving the document.location value.
The weakness was disclosed 04/22/2014 with VUPEN as HT6208 as confirmed advisory (Website) via Zero Day Initiative (ZDI). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2014-1713 since 01/29/2014. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available. The advisory points out:

The vulnerability scanner Nessus provides a plugin with the ID 73164 (Debian DSA-2883-1 : chromium-browser - security update), which helps to determine the existence of the flaw in a target environment. It is assigned to the family Debian Local Security Checks. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 166943 (OpenSuSE Security Update for chromium (openSUSE-SU-2014:0501-1)).
Upgrading to version 7.1.1 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability. The advisory contains the following remark:
