An issue was discovered in Joomla! before 3.9.4. The JSON handler in com_config lacks input validation, leading to XSS.
The bug was discovered 03/03/2019. The weakness was released 03/12/2019 (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2019-9712 since 03/11/2019.
