A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in V-Zug Combi-Steam MSLQ. Affected is an unknown code block of the component API. The bug was discovered 05/18/2018. The weakness was presented 09/30/2019 by Marc Ruef with scip AG as ID 134118 as confirmed entry (VulDB). The advisory is available at vuldb.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. Access to the local network is required for this attack. The requirement for exploitation is a authentication. During testing it was revealed that the API is not handling all kind of malicious requests properly. This might be an indicator for other vulnerabilities like buffer overflows, information disclosure, and denial of service.
