The bug was discovered 07/13/2005. The weakness was disclosed 07/12/2005 by Sylvain Roger with Solucom (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2005-2313 since 07/19/2005. The attack needs to be done within the local network. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
