jo! jo Webserver 1.0, when running on Windows, allows remote attackers to retrieve files in the WEB-INF directory, which contains Java class files and configuration information, via a request to the WEB-INF directory with a trailing dot ("WEB-INF.").
The weakness was shared 12/31/2002 by Matt Moore with WESTPOINT (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at online.securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2002-1857 since 06/29/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit.
