A vulnerability was found in Francisco Burzi PHP-Nuke up to 6.5 Rc3 (Content Management System). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects the function getit/search. The manipulation of the argument lid/min with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the Downloads module for PHP-Nuke 5.x through 6.5 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) lid parameter to the getit function or the (2) min parameter to the search function.
The weakness was presented 12/31/2003 by Albert Puigsech Galicia (Website). The advisory is shared for download at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2003-1210 since 05/19/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
