A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in SalesLogix 2000.0. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block in the library slxweb.dll. The manipulation of the argument id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in SalesLogix 6.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL statements via the id parameter in a view operation.

The bug was discovered 05/19/2004. The weakness was released 10/18/2004 by Carl Livitt (Website). The advisory is available at marc.theaimsgroup.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-1608 since 02/20/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
