EarlyImpact ProductCart uses a weak encryption scheme to encrypt passwords, which allows remote attackers to obtain the password via a chosen plaintext attack.

The weakness was shared 02/17/2004 by Nick Gudov with S-Quadra (Website). The advisory is shared for download at earlyimpact.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2004-2172 since 07/10/2005.
