The weakness was published 02/17/2004 by Nick Gudov with S-Quadra (Website). The advisory is shared at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2004-2173 since 07/10/2005. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
