Details
A vulnerability was found in OTRS up to 2.0.3 (Service Management Software). It has been classified as problematic. Affected is an unknown functionality of the file index.pl. The manipulation of the argument QueueID with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on integrity. CVE summarizes:
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in index.pl in Open Ticket Request System (OTRS) 1.0.0 through 1.3.2 and 2.0.0 through 2.0.3 allow remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) hex-encoded values in the QueueID parameter and (2) Action parameters.
