Mozilla Firefox 2.0 before 2.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to bypass Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) protection via vectors related to a Function.prototype regression error.
The weakness was presented 12/19/2006 by Vladimir Vukicevic (moz_bug_r_a4) as MFSA2006-72 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at mozilla.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-6507 since 12/13/2006. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
