A vulnerability was found in Oracle Database up to 10g (Database Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is the function DBMS_AQ_INV. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Apache 1.3.20 on Windows servers allows remote attackers to bypass the default index page and list directory contents via a URL with a large number of / (slash) characters.
The weakness was published 01/17/2007 by Alexander Kornbrust with Red Database Security (Website). The advisory is shared for download at red-database-security.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2001-0729. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
