A vulnerability was found in Oracle Database 10.2.1/10.2.2/10.2.3 (Database Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function APPLSYS.FND_DM_NODES. Oracle Database 10g uses a NULL pDacl parameter when calling the SetSecurityDescriptorDacl function to create discretionary access control lists (DACLs), which allows local users to gain privileges.
The weakness was published 04/18/2007 by Cesar Cerrudo with Oracle (Website). The advisory is available at oracle.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2007-1442 since 03/13/2007.
