Integer overflow in the RPC library in Libinfo in Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 through 10.4.9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted requests to portmap.
The bug was discovered 04/20/2007. The weakness was released 04/19/2007 by Mu Security with Mu Security research team (Website). The advisory is available at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2007-0736 since 02/05/2007. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
