A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Operating System). This issue affects an unknown code block. load_webdav in Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 through 10.4.9 does not properly clean the environment when mounting a WebDAV filesystem, which allows local users to gain privileges by setting unspecified environment variables.

The bug was discovered 04/17/2007. The weakness was published 04/24/2007 by Landon Fuller with Mu Security research team (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at us-cert.gov.
