A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Adobe Flash Player CS3 (Multimedia Player Software). This affects an unknown code block of the component SWF File Handler. Multiple heap-based buffer overflows in Adobe Flash CS3 Professional on Windows and Flash MX 2004 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via an SWF file containing long control parameters.

This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2008-4473 since 10/07/2008. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
