Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Xigla Absolute News Manager.NET 5.1. This affects an unknown function of the file pages/default.aspx. The manipulation of the argument template with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. The summary by CVE is:
