A vulnerability was found in Xigla Absolute News Manager.NET 5.1 and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file xlaabsolutenm.aspx. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Absolute News Manager.NET 5.1 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) rmore parameter to xlaabsolutenm.aspx and the (2) template parameter to pages/default.aspx.
The bug was discovered 11/16/2007. The weakness was published 11/28/2007 by Richard Brain with ProCheckUp Ltd. (Website). The advisory is shared at marc.info. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-6270 since 12/07/2007. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
