A vulnerability has been found in Xigla Absolute News Manager.NET 5.1 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the file xlaabsolutenm.aspx. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in xlaabsolutenm.aspx in Absolute News Manager.NET 5.1 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) z, (2) pz, (3) ord, and (4) sort parameters.
The bug was discovered 11/16/2007. The weakness was shared 11/28/2007 by Adrian Pastor with ProCheckUp Ltd. (Website). The advisory is shared for download at marc.info. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-6269 since 12/07/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
After 6 days, there has been an exploit disclosed. It is possible to download the exploit at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 12 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k. By approaching the search of inurl:xlaabsolutenm.aspx it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
