Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Adobe Flash Player 9.0.124.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via vectors involving HTTP response headers.
The bug was discovered 11/05/2008. The weakness was shared 11/10/2008 by Stanford University (Alex) with Stanford University (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-4818 since 10/31/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
