Use-after-free vulnerability in Google Chrome before 17.0.963.46 allows user-assisted remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have unspecified other impact via vectors related to mousemove events.
The weakness was published 02/08/2012 by Collin Payne (miaubiz) with Chromium Development Community (Website). The advisory is shared for download at lists.apple.com. The public release has been coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2011-3971 since 10/01/2011. The exploitability is told to be difficult.
