The layout engine in Mozilla Firefox 2 and 3 before 3.0.7, Thunderbird before 2.0.0.21, and SeaMonkey 1.1.15 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via vectors related to gczeal, a different vulnerability than CVE-2009-0773.

The bug was discovered 03/04/2009. The weakness was presented 03/04/2009 by Georgi Guninski (TippingPoint) with Zero Day Initiative (Website). The advisory is shared at redhat.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-0774 since 03/03/2009. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
