A vulnerability was found in LightNEasy 1.2.2 and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument dlid with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in LightNEasy/lightneasy.php in LightNEasy SQLite 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary PHP code into comments.dat via the dlid parameter to index.php.
The weakness was disclosed 04/18/2008 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-6593 since 04/03/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
