The (1) webreports, (2) post/create-role, and (3) post/update-role programs in IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM) before 8.2 do not include the HTTPOnly flag in a Set-Cookie header for a cookie, which makes it easier for remote attackers to obtain potentially sensitive information via script access to this cookie.
The weakness was presented 03/14/2012 with IBM (Website). The advisory is shared at www-01.ibm.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-1837 since 03/21/2012. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. Required for exploitation is a simple authentication. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1592 for this issue.
Upgrading to version 8.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
