Google Chrome before 19.0.1084.46 does not properly handle Tibetan text, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via unspecified vectors.
The weakness was shared 05/15/2012 by Brett Wilson (miaubiz) with Chromium Development Community as 122586 as confirmed knowledge base article (Website). The advisory is shared at code.google.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2011-3094 since 08/09/2011. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.

Upgrading to version 19.0.1084.46 eliminates this vulnerability. The upgrade is hosted for download at chrome.google.com. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at src.chromium.org. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
