Opera before 11.65 does not ensure that the address field corresponds to the displayed web page during unusually timed changes to this field, which makes it easier for user-assisted remote attackers to conduct spoofing attacks via vectors involving navigation, reloads, and redirects.
The weakness was disclosed 06/14/2012 by Jordi Chancel with Code Audit Labs as Opera 11.65 for Mac as not defined changelog entry (Website). The advisory is available at opera.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-3558 since 06/14/2012. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
