Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the JMX Console in Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (aka JBoss EAP or JBEAP) 4.3 before 4.3.0.CP09 allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that deploy WAR files.
The weakness was released 12/30/2010 as Bug 604617 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.redhat.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2010-3878 since 10/08/2010. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
