A vulnerability was found in Mozilla Bugzilla up to 2.17.3 (Bug Tracking Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is the function srand. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a access control vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-264. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Bugzilla 2.14 through 2.22.7; 3.0.x, 3.1.x, and 3.2.x before 3.2.10; 3.4.x before 3.4.10; 3.6.x before 3.6.4; and 4.0.x before 4.0rc2 does not properly generate random values for cookies and tokens, which allows remote attackers to obtain access to arbitrary accounts via unspecified vectors, related to an insufficient number of calls to the srand function.
