A vulnerability was found in Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.5.1/10.1.3 on Mac (Document Reader Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing. The weakness was released 08/14/2012 by James Quirk with Los Alamos as APSB12-16 as not defined bulletin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at adobe.com. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-4161 since 08/07/2012. The exploitation appears to be difficult. Access to the local network is required for this attack to succeed. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
