The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-4166 since 08/07/2012. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.
It is declared as proof-of-concept. The commercial vulnerability scanner Qualys is able to test this issue with plugin 120433 (Adobe Flash Player and AIR Multiple Vulnerabilities (APSB12-19)).
Upgrading to version 11.4.402.265(Windows, Mac) or 11.2.202.238(Linux) eliminates this vulnerability. The upgrade is hosted for download at get.adobe.com. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
