A vulnerability classified as very critical has been found in ImageMagick up to 6.5.3-5 (Image Processing Software). Affected is an unknown functionality. ImageMagick 6.7.5-7 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) and possibly execute arbitrary code via crafted offset and count values in the ResolutionUnit tag in the EXIF IFD0 of an image.
The weakness was shared 06/05/2012 by Aleksis Kauppinen (Website). The advisory is available at imagemagick.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2012-0247 since 12/21/2011.
