AutoFORM PDM Archive before 7.0 implements user accounts in a way that allows for JMX Console authentication, which allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended access restrictions via the /jmx-console URI, and then upload and execute arbitrary JSP code via a JBoss remote-deployment mechanism, a different vulnerability than CVE-2012-1828.
The weakness was released 06/13/2012 as confirmed advisory (CERT.org). It is possible to read the advisory at kb.cert.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-3347 since 06/13/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation needs a simple authentication. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. Upgrading to version 6.920 eliminates this vulnerability.
