A vulnerability was found in Moodle (Learning Management Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown processing. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in mod/feedback/complete.php in Moodle 2.0.x before 2.0.10, 2.1.x before 2.1.7, and 2.2.x before 2.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via crafted form data.
The weakness was released 07/23/2012 by Daniel Compton (oss-sec). The advisory is shared for download at openwall.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2012-3395 since 06/14/2012.
