The weakness was presented 10/16/2012 with Oracle as cpuoct2012-1515893 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at oracle.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-3173 since 06/06/2012. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. The requirement for exploitation is a simple authentication. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
