The ELF parser in file 5.08 through 5.21 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a large number of notes.
The weakness was presented 01/16/2015 by Alexander Cherepanov (Website). The advisory is available at mx.gw.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-9620 since 01/17/2015.
