Heap-based buffer overflow in the Web Server in Cogent Real-Time Systems Cogent DataHub before 7.3.5 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a negative value in the Content-Length field in a request.
The weakness was shared 05/22/2014 by Pawel Wylecial (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at cogentdatahub.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-3788 since 05/19/2014. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
