A vulnerability was found in Wireshark up to 1.8.3 (Packet Analyzer Software). It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the component WTP dissector. Upgrading to version 1.6.12 or 1.8.4 eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
