Use-after-free vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 through 10 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web site that triggers access to a deleted object, aka "InjectHTMLStream Use After Free Vulnerability."

The bug was discovered 12/11/2012. The weakness was disclosed 12/11/2012 by Rosario Valotta as MS12-077 as confirmed bulletin (Microsoft Technet). It is possible to read the advisory at technet.microsoft.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with Microsoft. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2012-4781 since 09/06/2012. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
