Stack-based buffer overflow in Advantech WebAccess (formerly BroadWin WebAccess) 7.2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the GotoCmd parameter.
The weakness was disclosed 09/20/2014 by Ricardo Narvaja (Website). The advisory is shared at ics-cert.us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2014-0986 since 01/07/2014. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available.
